The liberty route ends succesfully it presence in the Institucional channel

RTVC from its Institutional Channel, and its tv and internet broadcast, on its signal www.institucional.gov.co completed 19 successful days covering our national Independence celebration.

“En el camino del Bicentenario” (On the road to the Bicentennial) , was the special show in which colombian citizens were able to follow step by step all the activities that took place on july 20, to celebrate 199 years of Colombian Independence.

On live emission, Institutional will start to broadcast at 10 am, the closing part of the Liberty Route which started its path in Tame last july 20 and which traveled through 25 towns in our national territory, following Simon Bolivar´s traces in Colombian territory in 1810 and will end its travel in August 7, in the Puente de Boyacá, where it will be received by the president, Alvaro Uribe Vélez who in a commemorative act, with decorate 22 Generals from the Colombian Army with the Cruz de Boyacá decoration for their services to the country.

At the same time, the new Defense Minister, Gabriel Silva Luján will be presented to the troops. He will command military forces and police corps as well, from there on. Institucional´s "On the Road to Independence" will continue celebrating with all Colombian inhabitants our national independence day and invites you to enjoy its special shows planned to be aired on August.
